π«Many Iranian cities were pounded and bombarded by Saddam’s fighter jets.
π«Dorood an industrial city with one of the largest cement factories of Iran was among the most frequently bombarded targets.
π¨The smoke generated by the cement factory was an easy-to-locate target for Saddam’s pilots.
π£ People were being martyred in large numbers.

Abdul Qaem Shooshtary sought help and advice from GrΓ nd Ayatullah Seyed Muhammad Raza Bahauddiny.
π He instructed them to recite Hadith Kisa .
π«Not long after, it was heard, a fighter was flying around Dorood and was shot by the artillery fire of Boroojerd.
π«The pilot ejected safe and was arrested.
π₯ In an interview he said, I was instructed to destroy the city and the cement factory of Dorood. When I came close to the city and looked down, I saw nothing but water, no livelihood, no men. The same location that I had known and bombarded many many times.
πI reported this to my airbase and I was comanded to attack Boroojerd.
