On the Auspicious Occasion of
*Eid al Adha*

🌹The Reward of an Ill, a sick, a mareedh before the Merciful Allah.

*🌹‍Imam Sadiq (as)* such states,
“When Allah loves a servant, he afflicts him with severe trials..
… and illnesses may be one of them …”
It is amazing to know that time lapsed of a Momin in illness and pain is filled with reward and thawaab.

🌹 *The Holy Prophet (sa)* says,
The Almighty God, to the angel assigned to the ill
Momin says,
*Write* for this ill-momin, that what you wrote when he was healthy and safe.

🌹Furthermore,
*Imam Moosa ibn Jafer* (as) such mentions that,
The Holy Prophet (sa) states that an ill has 4⃣ rewards…

1⃣ Duties are waived from him. All that he is unable to perform, he will not be asked.

2⃣ The Almighty commands the assigned angel to record all the good he used to perform whilst he was healthy as a bonus at a time when he is unable to perform.

3⃣ The wrong done by the afflicted parts of the body will be removed.

4⃣ If in that ailment, he does depart, he dies forgiven and if he survives and lives, he lives forgiven.
